  • Please place the aligner tray in your given container when you are not wearing it in the mouth.

What you may experience temporarily during clear aligners treatment

When you change to the next aligner trays

  • You may notice some discomfort in the gums around the teeth treated

  • The teeth treated may be a little tender to chew on

  • This is expected as teeth are moving in clear aligners treatment.
This is on a reducing basis until the end of that tray.

  • You may notice sensitivity to hot or cold, food or drinks, on the teeth treated

  • Please let me know because

  • I can provide you fee free professional treatment to improve the sensitivity

  • Consider using Sensodyne Rapid Relief toothpaste or Colgate Pro Relief toothpaste to brush and apply on the teeth, then no eating no drinking or 30 minutes after.

  • If needed, consider 1-2 Panadol or 1-2 Nurofen as required and warm salt water rinses

How to clean your aligner trays ?

  • You can clean the appliance with a manual toothbrush and hand soap (or dishwashing liquid), NOT toothpaste.

  • Please avoid using hot water. Please use room temperature or cold water.

  • You store it in a dry area or the container given

  • You can use the cleaning tablets (e.g Polident tablets). You place 1 tablet with water in a cup, let the tablet dissolve and place the appliance in the cup for 3-5 minutes. Then take out the appliance and leave in a dry area.
